The FLK lamp is used in a number of ellipsoidal reflector spotlights including the Altman Shakespeare and 360Q. This tungsten halogen lamp is rated for a 1500 hour life (compare to 300 hours in the standard FLK). If your fixtures are difficult to access, or if you just want to buy fewer lamps- consider the Osram FLK/LL.
