R78 Trudy Blue gel is a medium blue with a hint of violet. Roscolux 78 Trudy Blue shifts to lavender as halogen/incandescent source are dimmed into their amber shift range.

Lighting Designers choose R78 Trudy Blue when they need a blue wash that also transmits some red. 

R78 peaks at the bottom of the visible blue range and again at the end of the visible red range.
